Guide to Understanding Our MLB Player Props

Below you’ll find our expert player projections, all color-coded to help you quickly spot the best options. Blue represents an exceptional value, green represents a good value, yellow represents an average value, and red represents an unattracive value.

  • Player Name: This column shows the player’s name, position, batting order, game time, game location, and wind direction from the batter’s perspective.
  • Line: The current line for the selected stat.
  • Odds: The moneyline for the prop when it is over the stat line.
  • IP: Implied Probability – The odds-implied percentage that the batter will exceed the given stat line.
  • Over 10: The percentage of the last 10 games in which the player would have surpassed the stat line. Color coded is based on performance over 10 compared to today’s implied probability
  • Over 20: The percentage of the last 20 games in which the player would have surpassed the stat line. Color coded is based on performance over 20 compared to today’s implied probability
  • L50: The percentage of times a player achieved that stat during their last 50 at-bats. Color coded is based on relative performance of the rest of the field.
  • L100: The percentage of times a player achieved that stat during their last 100 at-bats. Color coded is based on relative performance of the rest of the field.
  • SP100: The frequency at which the projected starting pitcher allowed a batter they faced to achieve the stat over the last 100 batters faced. Batters Faced is calculated by number of batters faced for all games until a pitcher reaches 100 batters, and therefore will likely be over 100 batters. Color coded is based on relative performance of the rest of the field.
  • SP200: The frequency at which the projected starting pitcher allowed a batter they faced to achieve the stat over the last 200 batters faced. Batters Faced is calculated by number of batters faced for all games until a pitcher reaches 200 batters, and therefore will likely be over 200 batters. Color coded is based on relative performance of the rest of the field.
  • Park: The average number of each stat per game that the ballpark allows per team. Color coded is based on all the ballparks.
